We base our carbon conversion factors on figures compiled by: Our audits are conducted according to Australian Standards AS 3598-2000 How long does it take to complete a report? We require energy usage figures for the last twelve months and information regarding staff travel, waste management and office practices. Providing you have access to this information the general information gathering will take approx three hours for a business employing up to ten people. Allow two weeks for the preparation of the report and approx one week for the issue of Carbon Offset Certificates and Logos. What other services do Logic & Form Offer? Logic & Form conducts Energy Audits to level 2 and 3 Under the Australian Standard. These audits offer a complete analysis of energy use and building thermal performance and are carried out over a three to four month period during which we monitor energy usage continuously. The results are then analysed and a report formatted indicating areas where plant and equipment can be upgraded and work practices altered. The costs for upgrading are listed as well as the expected return on investment against expenditure vs. energy saving. What is the cost of a simple carbon Audit? All business are unique in there structure and complexity. Generally the cost for the simple carbon audit and carbon footprint report for a business employing up to five people is $400.00 (plus GST) plus the cost of the carbon offset certificates. This cost also includes the issue and use of the Carbon Savvy logo. - If a level 1 report to AS 3598 – 2000 is required the cost would be an additional $100.00.

Typically the cost runs at $33.00/tonne (plus GST) depending on market demand. - So for example if your business generates 100 tonnes CO2-e per annum and you choose to offset % 25(25 tonnes) the cost of the certificates is 25 X $33.00 = $825.00
